I could not think of a better topic than just writing sachin three times. November 5,a day in the making of history.A one man show which stunned the entire cricketing nations , an innings which said "F*** you" to all the critics against him.A person who created 5 world records in a single day ,he is none other than Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.
sachin's scored 175 and the rest of the players could manage only 160 runs and 12 extras. what a wonderful team it was , which was considered to be the prospect for te 2011 world cup .By hearing this i could remember a famous adage in tamil"oru thanuku endirikave mudiyalaiya.....".
What else you can expect from sachin better than this , he lifted the innings all alone with no support on the other side .Shewag must be sensible in his batting ,trying to smash all the balls like an amateur.Oh god , Tail enders is this the first time they play batting in their life .Nehra and munaf please learn your basics atleast to make contact with the ball.
When sachin took the catch in square leg and threw the ball in anger and disappointment , that showed that he is upto some thwarting innings.This match rechristened likeness in sharjah with the same aussies.As india lost there was hot discussion in orkut communities against srikkanth and his stupid selection of playeres.
With this team world cup is distant dream . I would like to quote some of the reactions in orkut against india team.

They talk abt youngsters being promoted for the welfare of the team for the WC 2011, but time and again these youngsters have nt proved themselves!!! They lack consistency and commitment!!! As u said, once sachin retires, this team will feel a void for many more years which nobody can ever fill, like they are missing dravid in the middle order :)(Dravid fana irunthutu thalaivar pathi pesalana epadi!!!)

ReplyDeletei still remember how i became crazy when sachin was hitting 4's & 6's in sharjah vs aussies in 1998.After ten years,i felt the same excitement and thrill durin tis match. His style and power..nothing changed in these 20 years.many ppl used to say sachin is not match winner despite all his centuries and 175(in tis match)..i like to tell one thing to those ppl..'INDIAN TEAM (OTHER 10 PLAYERS) DIDNT USE SACHIN TO FINISH THE MATCH'..expecting the opening player to carry full innnings always is the bullshit !
