“Vadai Poche”

This is the second time I am doing it, I don’t understand why it happened again same kind of incident almost at same situation. Once I boarded a bus to T nagar ,after getting the ticket from the conductor held the ticket in my hand. At that moment I received a call from one of my friend, as I was deeply engrossed over with the conversation involuntarily, I crumbled the ticket into a small ball resembling a lizard’s egg. Next thing is the highlight, I threw the ticket out of the window. Close to 30 seconds later ,I gained conscious that actually I have thrown the travel ticket out of the window pane. Scenes of vadivel comedy came flashing through my mind “Vadai Poche” . Disgusted by my act , took the ticket again .Similarly it even happened today but this time , difference was travelling from Tnagar to my home. Another difference was, I did not take ticket again since I threw it just 2 stops before mine . All that happens is only for good.”Ippadi solli manasa thethika vendiyadu thaan”.

"Real life story"

One of my favorite teacher during my school days was Mr.Issac ,a perfect man with diligence in his work. He was the man who motivated me to give my first violin performance in school. He handled chemistry ,where I developed greater liking towards the subject that made me score 200 in my HSC. Once he gave a deadline for the submission of Chemistry practicals, I failed to complete it on time. However I placed my record tucked in between the stack of record books. He never checks all the books ,but on that particular day he verified all. I was caught red-handed along with three other friends. He was shocked to see me doing such an act , in utter desperation he tore my into two parts threw it on my face. He took his long bamboo one of his favorite one where he orders for such sticks from the market , he slashed one by one leaving none. When my turn came he threw stick and gave a heavy slap on my cheeks ,I made a 720 degree turn like whirlwind and fell to the ground. “ Then my MOM came rushing t my room and shook me up lying on the floor, Get Up you Lazy “ ,Thank God that was just a day dream.
This was my first dream which I can remember with much clarity, I tend to forget the dreams as soon as I get up but this one had great impact on me. Is this the sign of omens which is trying to reveal something , hmmm might be days would give a suitable answer.

Aayirathil Oruvan - ( evano oruvan)

This review based on the soliloquize analysis of my brain and heart .Actually I had a two way liking towards the movie where my brain liked the movie but my heart unable to accept the movie as a cult in its own style which was proclaimed by the film crew.

Hey hearty how was the movie man, I felt this is the next leap in the film making .Sorry brainy I felt the opposite , I found the movie to be a amateurish work by selva. He used this movie as a testing ground for his future projects.

Hey, hey hearty I totally disagree with you about this man; this is the first movie of its kind. Look at the fantasy ride of the movie in the first half, that’s brilliant one you can’t ignore that. Stop it brainy for how long you keep on saying this ,that its different one which was never attempted. I felt most of the scenes were just an adaptation of some famous Hollywood movies Mummy, Mummy returns and apocalypto. Govinda song seemed more or just like Back street boys album on “Everybody Out”

Hearty you seemed to be more comparative ,watch the movie with clear thought .How can I , I can watch the movie with only light hearted. K you answered it brilliantly, the portrayal of chola dynasty was extraordinary. Parthiban’s performance was phenomenal and it was realistic that 12 th century people are bound to be of that sort who remained underground. Reema sen had once in a life time opportunity to get such a role.

Ya that’s true brainy ,I have no regrets with performances of parthiban or karthi even reema .But I don’t see any reason to waste 2 years of his acting career for this movie and reema’s performance was flawless but the lipsink made it look unusual .The other thing I felt was when selva had taken the subject of fantasy he must have stuck on to that but he kept oscillating between realism and fantasy which annoyed me .There are certain scenes which required viewers discretion ,blood shed were too much . A movie is where people come to relax but this was not the movie for family audiences.

Ha ha ,hearty You can’t expect all the movies to be made for family audiences ,there are certain expectations where the audience wander for different kind of movie with new kind of plot. Oh! well that’s the case Brainy ,you can enthrall the audiences with fantasy world but not bringing a gory murder for every scene you come across claiming to be reality.

K K ,lets stop it here hearty, the more I claim it to be a good more you can oppose too and vice versa is also possible .Final verdict will be this is a movie for ardent followers of Selvaraghavan. A movie is never complete with music it deserves a special mention with astounding music by G.V ,his back ground score creates a well deserved applause. The music reflects the mood of all the scenes with clarity. BGM would make hooked to the seat for quite a sometime.

Bottomline : Movie is for those who say they are different in their tastes.
