"Back to SSN"

A year after passing out from SSN, i went back not as an engineer but as an MBA graduate for Daksha '09 ,a national level management meet.Profound memories of my hostel and friends all lingered through my mind .It was like a descant from cheran movie autograph with a bgm at the back "Niyabagam varude niyabagam varude".
But neverthless , i m enjoying my PG days to the fullest .I went to take part in business quiz, along with my class mate("which happened to be a girl").Our purpose of visit was to know the range and standard of questions asked in the prelims and finals. so that we could palce ourself in much better position in the susequent event.

Our event was scheduled to start only at 2.30 pm, but we went there at 9 for registeration. No other work to do, we lobbied around the whole college and i recalled all my memories at SSN.At 2.30 we entered the prelims hall, question paper was distributed .It contained 25 questions ,as we started to read all the questions we finally managed to answer 2 questions, what a great achievement that was?..My inner conscience said "Ni innum valaranum thambi"..we wrote some logically derived answers for most of the questions but obviously went wrong. There was another comedy which also happened to be my class mates were in a total chaos..

It was like a question paper with all the questions taken from out of the sylabus. With a great hush of silence came out of the hall. Then we went to the mini audi ,for the finals .The teams that were qualified were from Madras social works,Velammal College, Anna University and Kcg College, they are the teams who were seen in the fianals of all colleges.
Quiz master ,shooted the questions in a round robin fashion ,finally anna univ team won the title. This time i happened to know around 7 questions that were asked in the fianls.. Patting my back , with a grit of complacency in my mind and boarded the bus to my home.Nostalgic feelings and anxiety filled all through my heart as i left my SSN Engineering COllege ,Kalavakkam..

"Fabulous show by indian Cricket team"

What a day it was for the indian cricket team and Indian fans, chasing a huge total of 354 the aussies were in a state of fix .They realised the surmounting pressure that lies ahead.Aussies started their mind game of sledging the players on field. Though Viru was a victim of sledging by johnson, Dhoni showed sensiblity and made his bat speak the words not his mouth..His flamboyant innings of 124 was a milestone in his career since he was booed by the dejected audience in the previous match. In the presentation cermony , he was asked about this dhoni replied,"It is part and parcel of life, this is not the first time i m facing this"..

The top order batsmen have done their part ,similarly it was bowlers who must perform and they did the exact thing of picking early wickets not allowing the aussies to get a huge partnership. The lanky fielding by the indians have changed a lot with more aggression and chase in their fielding. It was a total effort that was well co-ordinated and channelised to make it memorable day for the millions of indian fans.

Aussies would resort to more dirty play in the upcoming matches .Neverthless if Indians show the same kind of atttitude we are bound to win the series and teach the aussies a lesson.

I want everything and not something

The title may sound quite odd to most of them, but here I refer that everything to knowledge and not those world pleasures. knowledge is a greatest gift that man can ever get ,it keeps on manipulating on and on till your death. The day when knowledge does stops increasing your considered to be a dead man.

There is famous saying “known is a drop and unknown is a ocean”. I want to know the unknown region and explore it to the core. There is another perspective to this thought ,What is that unknown ,they say only great saints have understood the unknown through continuous meditation and preach it to commoners. I ‘m not going to be philosophical .

A person with such an imaginative talent may be GOD

I believe in attaining many things and not something.

Why can’t I ,what is that blocking me, nothing so know everything that comes in your way..

"Another worst movie experience"

Oh god,the most tortuous 2 and half hours on a bright sunday that i can never forget. The day i cursed for happening again in my life.I asked my friend to take tickets for aadhavan ,eventhough the review was average about the movie. But the urge to have a glimpse of Nayan and suriya ofcourse ,made me wandering to get the tickets in Rakki cinemas. As my friend has reached earlier there i asked him to get it for me too.The counter was closed owing to the weekend rush and family audiences with a signboard( HOUSEFULL).
By the i reached the gate of the theatre complex , My dearest friend approached me with a huge smile in his face," Dude i got the tickets (a pause),for Jagan mogini da".I was totally shocked to hear tat and there was a huge quarrel with him ,"how the hell, u dare to take the tickets for this stupid movie"(lot more censored words). we tried to sell the tickets in complex itself but none were ready to buy.Without having the heart to waste Rs.50, we went inside.Form the start till the end i cursed him for taking me to this F*** bull S*** movie. If i happen to see the director anywhere i ll beat him to death. What a stupid story with no vivid storyline, songs of Namita is nothing but a show of skin, offtrack comedy ,misplaced songs, no strong dialogues ,a sense of amateurism is seen in the directorial work, Music mastero has even failed to render some impact. After a 2 and 1/2 hour
stint of impatience ,fianlly i was happy to see the title "The End".

Pls never ever think of watching "jagan mogini even in pirated CD's".

“Marks, marks and marks”

The buzz word of all students in the school , colleges and not to forget parents. Marks like an ogre surrounds the neck of all students creates suffocation and mental stress. Gone are the days where the importance of extra curricular activities were stressed. At present reading and mugging up even though u did not understand.
The pressure surmounts him from all directions , first and the foremost from the parents ,their famous anecdote “ Padikalaina maadu than meikanum” ,next neighbors comparing his marks with others ,peers and friends may feel reluctant in approach towards u , isolation in the class ,etc etc….such an environment will create psychological distress..
As these factors keeps on augmenting, some students may resort to extreme decisions like suicide. Life is beautiful, enjoy it to the fullest and why do you waste it. Marks are nothing but the part and parcel of life. If one door closes the other door opens. Be confident approach life in a different perspective, marks are nothing but numbers it is not ur fate.. you create your own destiny..
(self appraisal: that was quite motivational to me)

"Train Journey"

Everyday i board a train to my college, lots of people with lots of characters and attitude towards life...u could see a sense of tension among IT people to meet the demands of the day in their job, a sense of excitement among government workers, students cramming through the books as a part of their test prep, school students talking about their homework ,some old people talking about politics ,some cursig the rush in the train, few students who never step in to sit in the train , some naughty students commenting on he ongoing female passengers, fresh vegetables brought from outside Chennai detrain at certain station for whole sale, blind persons selling keychains ,cotton buds, purses etc for their survival, and some needy people who beg for their living ,... wow so many people so many many characters ...i revere about the wonderful creation that GOD has made Human beings(homosapien)... but i want to express my wildest anger towards someone for such a difference in the society to whom ,where and how ....Many questions remain unanswered....
